💡 How to understand this

Krishna is teaching Arjuna that a real yogī is not someone who just sits quietly. A real yogī is someone who can do the right thing without worrying all the time about the future.
Planning is good. If you have a test, you should plan your study. If you have a project, you should plan your work. But after planning, you should do the work in front of you.
Worrying is different. Worrying means the mind keeps saying, “What if I fail? What if they laugh? What if I do not win? What if something bad happens?” Then the mind cannot do today’s work properly.
Krishna says: give up this kind of worrying. Do your duty. Offer it to Bhagavān. Then your mind becomes calm and strong.
That calm mind is the mind of a true yogī.
📖 A story to remember — Meera had a spelling test on Friday. On Monday, her teacher gave the word list. Meera looked at the list and became nervous.

“What if I forget? What if I get low marks? What if my friend gets more marks than me?” she thought.
Her mother sat beside her and said, “Let us make a plan. You can study five words each day. Then on Thursday we will revise all of them.”
Meera agreed. She studied five words on Monday. But after studying, she still kept worrying. At dinner she thought about the test. While brushing her teeth, she thought about the test. Even while playing, she thought about the test.
The next day, her grandfather asked, “Are you planning or worrying?”
Meera asked, “What is the difference?”
Grandfather said, “Planning helps you do the work. Worrying makes you forget the work.”
Meera smiled. That evening she studied the next five words. Then she closed the book and said, “Bhagavān, I have done today’s work. I will do tomorrow’s work tomorrow.”
By Friday, she was calmer. She wrote the test carefully. She did not know every word perfectly, but her mind was steady.
That is Krishna’s teaching. Plan well, work sincerely, and do not let worry steal the present moment.
🤔 Think about it
◈When I have homework or a test, do I plan my work or only worry about it?
◈Can I do today’s work and leave tomorrow’s worry to Bhagavān?
